This is a Gamy aviation litho - Gamy is better known for aviation art than motoring, but as we specialise in the work of Mabileau et Cie, this is very much part of the collection. The full title is "Renaux gagne Le Grand Prix Michelin sur bi-plan Farman". The colours on this original Litho are brilliant with the hand-colouring clear to see, it is complete in its original frame and is very much an historic work from a bygone era. The aged muting of the colours in this instance only add to the overall impression and this one is the one that most gallery visitors pick as their favourite image.
