For any gallery to be successful, the ability to value is a key attribute. Over many years of experience & research we have built up a reputation and a business based on being able to separate the wheat from the chaff.
The Mabileau has advised leading auction houses and private collectors in the specialist field of motoring art. Don’t ask us to value your suspected ‘Picasso’ as we won’t have a clue, but if you’re not sure if your grandfathers treasured Montaut is the real deal or otherwise, we’re your 1st stop.
We can value from photographs, but we would always like to see the picture up close and personal before committing to an accurate value. We offer this free of charge to individuals for insurance and probate, however we do charge at cost (travel & expenses) to auction houses and businesses.
